Tony’s framed portrait. Tony got this lovely portrait of his lovely lady from Melanie. His wife loves dragonflies, water lilies, and bright colors, so we incorporated those into the frame for her. 

Incidentally, if you need a plumber, Tony is the best! He owns American Plumbing and they are great. If you’ve used the toilet at Icon in the last six months, you can thank Tony for that!

COVERUP!

One of Melanie’s favorite tattoos she’s ever done! A giant cover-up on the lovely Katey. Picture taken after the first color session (apologies for shininess). Probably another four sessions before we’ll be done—color in remaining flowers, and a little more grey shading where necessary.

Pretty tattoo Melanie finished a few weeks ago! All in soft grey/muted colors. This one turned out lovely! Was battling shine in the photos (tattooers’ worst enemy in pictures), but hopefully between the three you can get a sense of it! 

Kirsten tattooed our eminently lovely counter lady (and her cousin), the wonderful Karl! Also known as Kari, but it’s reeeeally much more fun to call her Karl. 

Karl is pretty and hilarious and generally just great. As is Kirsten! Good job, Hollidays and Klingsporns.

Melanie here. Got to work on Amber’s arm on Saturday; this tattoo is super special! Based on William Morris wallpaper, this one is SO fancy and pretty! We got a little more than half the color done on Saturday; she lives in Bellingham, so we have to go gangbusters when she comes down for an appointment. 

The colors are really muted and beautiful, can’t wait to see it healed. 

Please note: I did NOT do the kitty/frame in the center, although I did color it on Saturday! We’re thinking about adding a little nail and string above it so that it looks like it’s hanging on the beautiful wallpaper…

Michaela came in for more work on her lovely flower half-sleeve! All color is healed; we laid out the rest of the line work.
